Perak FA Official Digital Home, Pre-Launch Microsite

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Perak FA Official Digital Home pre-launch microsite (“Microsite”).
The Microsite is provided by Persatuan Bolasepak Perak (“Perak FA”, “we”, “us” or “our”) as a pre-launch platform for supporters and members of the public who wish to stay informed about the upcoming Perak FA Official Digital Home and other authorised Perak FA news, programmes, events and developments.
By accessing the Microsite or submitting your details through it, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms.
1. Purpose of the Microsite
This Microsite is a temporary pre-launch platform intended primarily to:
- introduce the forthcoming Perak FA Official Digital Home;
- allow supporters and interested persons to register their interest;
- enable users to receive authorised Perak FA updates and communications; and
- provide information relating to the forthcoming launch and other relevant Perak FA developments.
The Microsite is not currently intended to provide the full functionality of the future Perak FA Official Digital Home.
Features, content and services available through the eventual full Digital Home may be subject to separate or additional terms and conditions.
2. Registration and Information Provided by You
You may be invited to provide information such as your:
- email address;
- mobile telephone or WhatsApp number; and
- information made available to us through an authorised third-party sign-in service, such as Google, if you choose to use that option.
You agree that information submitted by you should, to the best of your knowledge, be accurate and not deliberately false, misleading or submitted on behalf of another person without authority.
You are not required to register merely to view the publicly accessible portions of the Microsite.
However, certain information is required if you wish to register to receive Perak FA communications.
3. Perak FA Communications
Where you register and provide the relevant consent, Perak FA may communicate with you through channels including:
- email;
- WhatsApp;
- mobile messaging; and
- other authorised Perak FA communication channels appropriate to the contact information you have provided.
Communications may include information concerning the launch of the Perak FA Official Digital Home, football-related news, matches, competitions, events, programmes, community initiatives, announcements and other Perak FA developments.
You may withdraw your consent to receive promotional or informational communications at any time by using any unsubscribe or opt-out mechanism provided in a communication, where available, or by contacting [email protected].
Withdrawal of consent will not affect processing already carried out lawfully before the withdrawal.
4. Google and Other Third-Party Services
The Microsite may allow you to use third-party services, including Google sign-in.
If you choose to use a third-party service, that service may process information in accordance with its own terms and privacy policies.
Perak FA is not responsible for the independent practices, systems or policies of third-party service providers except to the extent required by applicable law.
5. Acceptable Use
You must not use the Microsite:
- for any unlawful, fraudulent or malicious purpose;
- to interfere with or attempt to compromise the security or operation of the Microsite;
- to introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful technology;
- to attempt unauthorised access to servers, databases, accounts or systems;
- to collect or extract data from the Microsite through unauthorised automated means;
- to impersonate another person or organisation;
- to submit another person's personal information without appropriate authority; or
- in any manner that may damage the reputation, rights or legitimate interests of Perak FA or other users.
Perak FA reserves the right to restrict or block access where misuse or a security threat is reasonably suspected.
6. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all intellectual property associated with the Microsite, including but not limited to:
- the Perak FA name;
- crest, logos and marks;
- photographs;
- graphics;
- designs;
- copy and written content;
- videos and audiovisual material;
- branding;
- layouts; and
- other original content
is owned by, licensed to, or used with the authority of Perak FA and/or the respective rights holders.
No part of the Microsite may be reproduced, copied, republished, distributed, modified, commercially exploited or otherwise used without prior written permission from the relevant rights holder, except where permitted by applicable law.
Nothing on the Microsite grants any licence or right to use the Perak FA name, crest, trademarks or other protected material without prior written permission.
7. Pre-Launch Information
Information presented on this Microsite concerns a project that is under development.
Accordingly:
- designs may change;
- features may be added, removed or amended;
- launch dates or schedules may change;
- content may be updated; and
- information displayed during the pre-launch period should not be interpreted as a guarantee that a particular feature or service will appear in the final Digital Home.
Perak FA may modify, suspend, replace or discontinue any portion of the Microsite at any time.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the Microsite available and functioning properly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Access may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical issues, security requirements, hosting interruptions or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
9. Disclaimer
The Microsite and its content are provided for general information and pre-launch communication purposes.
While reasonable efforts are made to maintain accurate information, Perak FA does not warrant that all information will at all times be complete, current or free from errors.
Nothing on this Microsite constitutes professional, financial, legal or other specialist advice.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Perak FA shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss arising solely from your use of, or inability to access, this pre-launch Microsite.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts any liability or right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under Malaysian law.
11. Links and External Platforms
The Microsite may contain links or connections to third-party websites, applications or communication platforms.
These third-party platforms operate independently and may have their own terms, privacy notices and security practices.
Perak FA is not responsible for third-party content or services outside its control.
12. Personal Data
Personal data submitted through or collected in connection with the Microsite will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Notice and applicable Malaysian law.
The Privacy Notice forms an important part of your use of the registration functionality and should be read before submitting your personal information.
13. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be amended from time to time to reflect changes to the Microsite, its functionality, legal requirements or Perak FA's operations.
The latest version will be made available through the Microsite together with its effective or updated date.
Your continued use of the Microsite after an updated version is published constitutes acknowledgement of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Microsite shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
